While I’m new to lending industry, I am very familiar with the real estate trends here in Houston. With a background in property management and consulting for new development projects, I bring a unique perspective to borrowers who are looking to grow their portfolio.
My top advice for home investors is to cultivate a reliable team around you. Coming from a background where relationships with General Contractors, Sub Contractors, Architects, etc. are paramount. In this industry, success hinges on the relationships you build, and surrounding yourself with a trustworthy network is key.
One of the common pitfalls I’ve observed is underestimating the cost project. Within the past year we have seen a dramatic increase in cost and without proper planning and budgeting, a dream project can turn into a nightmare. Drawing from my experience in consulting, I emphasize the significance of planning, accurate quotes, and working with professionals to ensure both budget and timelines are realistic.
Professionally I enjoy being able to drive by a project you have worked on with a client and say that you are able to make that happen. Personally What drives me ultimately is my family and making sure they never go without.
I was born and raised in Houston, and my fascination with real estate investment has been a constant. With a background in commercial construction and property management, I’ve guided several friends and family members in establishing their investment portfolios. When Renovo Financial approached me, the opportunity to enter the lending industry was a no brainer.
With family-owned acreage in Moscow, TX, and a deer lease in Del Rio, TX, the ranch is where I like to be.
I grew up playing baseball and have had the honor to play with and against some of the players that are currently in the big leauge.
